A security guard at the Samahita hotel was fatally attacked during the night. Wounded by a 3 cm gash below the left elbow crease and to the leg, the man suffered a cardiac arrest around 2 a.m. despite the intervention of the emergency services.
Emergency services were alerted at 01:32 for a violent attack that resulted in a stab wound.
On site, the victim Kang, a security guard at the SAMAHITA hotel, presented a lacerated wound of approximately 3 cm below the left elbow crease as well as a wound to the leg. He was conscious but drowsy and very agitated.
His condition deteriorated abruptly: he suffered a cardiac arrest at 02:00.
The rescuers immediately performed cardiac massage (CPR). The victim was taken care of by the hospital ambulance at 02:10, but he died shortly afterwards despite all the efforts made.
Despite the rapid intervention of the emergency services, the security guard did not survive this violent attack.
No further details have been communicated so far regarding the exact circumstances of the attack.
