An Unbreakable Friendship: Last night at Bophut police station in Koh Samui, a 46-year-old Italian was arrested while attempting to visit a detained friend by concealing 0.33 grams of heroin in a drink bottle. A search of his room led to the seizure of twelve sachets of methamphetamine and heroin.

The incident took place on 4 June 2026 at Bophut police station, in the district of Koh Samui, Surat Thani province. Sergeant D. T. Wirayut Krisakri, on duty, inspected the foreign visitor who arrived with a drink bottle.

The suspect, Mr. Domenico, an Italian national aged 46, had come to visit his friend, a fellow countryman currently in detention awaiting his deportation.

Upon inspecting the bottle, the officers noticed the cap was unusual and discovered 0.33 grams of heroin concealed in a condom inside.

Under the direction of Lieutenant Colonel Phanumas Chuakuea, in coordination with Lieutenant Arun Musikim from the Immigration services of Surat Thani, the police immediately searched the suspect’s room located in village No. 1 of Bophut.
