Police officers from the Bophut station on Koh Samui have arrested a 45-year-old Israeli national who was wanted under nineteen arrest warrants.
On 15 August 2026, Koh Samui law enforcement officers, under the direction of Lieutenant-Colonel Bhanumas Chukuea, carried out the arrest of Mr Galbiber, a 45-year-old Israeli citizen.
The man was the subject of nineteen arrest warrants issued by the island’s provincial court. He is notably charged with providing false information to the authorities in official documents.
The offences include having instructed officials to enter false statements in public or official documents, with the intention of using them as evidence likely to cause harm to others or the public, and, as a foreigner, illegally carrying out land trading activities, a sector in which Thai nationals are unable to compete with foreign investors, while allowing Thai nationals to assist in an unauthorised activity.
