At Samui International Airport, pupils from three local schools have transformed the walls into a colourful mural, offering travellers a warm and creative welcome upon arrival.
Koh Samui Airport has launched an original initiative by inviting island pupils to express their vision of Koh Samui through drawings. Created on the walls of the arrivals terminal, these works accompany passengers to the baggage reclaim area.
Three establishments took part in this project: the « Saint-Joseph de Koh Samui » School, the « Wat Bundarikaram » School and the « Ban Bo Phut » School. Each group of pupils added their personal touch, blending marine landscapes, cultural symbols and scenes from daily life.
These childlike illustrations have profoundly changed the atmosphere of the terminal. They create a lighter and more welcoming ambiance, bringing a smile to travellers as soon as they disembark from the plane.
