Thai authorities on Koh Phangan have decided to revoke the visa of an Israeli psychotherapist and deport her to her home country after behaviour deemed inappropriate.

The authorities of Koh Phangan have ordered the expulsion of Ashual Enav, an Israeli national aged 33. She will have her visa cancelled and will be placed on a blacklist.

The decision was taken during the 7th meeting of 2569 (2026) of the joint screening committee examining the behaviour of foreigners staying on the island. The session was chaired by Phaisit Thongchoem, district chief of Koh Phangan.

Participants included police colonel Apichat Chansamrit, commissioner of the Koh Phangan police, as well as representatives of immigration from Surat Thani province.

The committee considered that the young woman’s behaviour fell under cases of misconduct or offences that could justify visa revocation. Only one person was concerned during this session: the Israeli national, who will henceforth be banned from staying in Thailand.

This measure forms part of enhanced controls carried out by the Ministry of the Interior and local authorities against behaviour deemed incompatible with foreigners’ stay on the island.
