The head of the Thai government, Anutin Charnvirakul, has signed an expulsion decree against a French national accused of behaviour threatening public peace and morality.
The Prime Minister and Interior Minister, Anutin Charnvirakul, signed ministerial decree no. 2354/2569 on 7 September 2026 ordering the expulsion of Kevin Dimino, a French citizen and manager of « Samui Exotic Park », from Thai territory.
According to the authorities, the man has repeatedly carried out acts of intimidation, harassment and physical violence, while sowing racial and religious discord, including among tourists. His reckless behaviour is also said to have endangered people and property.
The provincial court of Koh Samui had convicted him of road traffic offences. Found guilty, he was fined 5,000 baht after a reduction in sentence for his confession.
As the facts were deemed contrary to public order and morality, the Interior Minister invoked article 5 of the 1956 expulsion law to justify the measure.
Kevin Dimino has seven days from notification to lodge an appeal with the Prime Minister to contest the decision.
