The head of the Thai government has confirmed the rejection of the appeal lodged by the French national against the deportation order targeting him.

Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul has rejected the appeal filed by Kevin Dimino, a French national, against the deportation order issued against him. This decision was notified by letter dated 23 September 2026 to the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of the Interior.

The deportation order, issued on 7 September 2026 under number 2354/2026, was made under the 1956 Deportation Act. It concerned conduct deemed contrary to public order, good morals or the general interest.

Kevin Dimino, owner of the animal park Samui Exotic Park on the island of Koh Samui, had lodged an appeal with the Prime Minister seeking the annulment or suspension of the measure. This appeal has been definitively rejected.

The Ministry of the Interior submitted to the Prime Minister a report detailing six incidents attributed to the French national. These include harassment and threats against staff at a language school, an assault on a Turkish national, aggressive behaviour in public spaces, and threatening remarks towards tourists.

The report also mentions social media posts calling for gatherings with religious and political aims, which the authorities believe could fuel ethnic and religious divisions. A final incident concerns threats made on board a domestic flight, which led to his removal by police.

The Prime Minister has instructed the Ministry of the Interior to inform Kevin Dimino of this decision and of his right to apply to the administrative court to challenge the deportation order.
