The young Thai Néné Royal, crowned winner of America’s Got Talent 2026, was welcomed in a festive atmosphere at Phuket airport by her family, her fans and the local authorities.
On 27 September 2026, Phuket airport saw exceptional crowds. Néné Royal, whose real name is Praew-Rattikan Amlai, returned to Thailand after her historic victory in the international competition America’s Got Talent. She arrived at 10:50 on board Cathay Pacific flight CX771, accompanied by her family and members of the OZONE group.
Among the officials who came to greet her were the Governor of Phuket province, Chotinrin Kerdsom, the District Chief of Thalang, Wilailak Rueangphon, as well as the airport director, Montchai Tanod, and representatives of True Corporation, the young artist’s official sponsor.
One of the most moving moments was the reunion with her grandmother, Kaew Boonkerd, aged 89. Having travelled specially from Nakhon Si Thammarat province, she embraced her granddaughter as soon as she emerged from the terminal, to the cheers of the crowd chanting “Néné, you are the best!”.
Later that day, Phuket province organised an official ceremony from 5 p.m. An electric-car procession wound through the old town, followed by a reception and a concert at which Néné Royal and the OZONE group performed several numbers for their admirers.
