The Samui United Islanders secured a convincing 3-1 home victory against FC Yala on Sunday 18 October 2026 in Thai League 3 South group.
In front of their home crowd, the Samui United players secured an important 3-1 victory against FC Yala during the 5th matchday of Thai League 3 (South group). After a goalless first half (0-0 at half-time), the Islanders completely dominated the second half to claim all three points.
German striker Vincent Boesen was the architect of this success by scoring a hat-trick, including a penalty. His efficiency allowed the Koh Samui team to turn the match around and secure the win after a laborious first half.
This result strengthens Samui United's ambitions in the race for the top of the South group standings. The Islanders, who had suffered a home defeat against Phuket Andaman earlier in the season, thus return to the path of victory in front of their supporters.
After the match, club president Sao and vice-president Mika Chunuonsee highlighted the importance of collective unity:
« From the players on the field to the coaching staff, the team, and every fan, every bit of support contributes to our success. We express our gratitude to everyone who has journeyed with us and is an integral part of our family. »
The Islanders thus continue their season with confidence and ambition in the Thai third division championship.
