The "Islanders" of Samui United secured a valuable 1-0 victory on Nara FC's pitch thanks to a goal from Emmanuel Sonupe, bringing three points back to the island.
This Saturday evening, Samui United claimed an important away victory against Nara FC (0-1) in Thai League 3 (Southern group). The Koh Samui players, nicknamed "The Islanders", showed determination for 90 minutes to bring the three points back from Narathiwat to Koh Samui.
The only goal of the match was scored once again by the Anglo-Nigerian striker Emmanuel Sonupe (No. 14), who secured the win for his team. This success comes after a home defeat against Phuket Andaman and confirms the club's ambitions in the race for the top spots in the table.

The club warmly thanked its supporters: those who travelled to the pitch as well as those who encouraged the team from afar via AIS PLAY. "All voices, all encouragements constitute an essential energy that allowed the Islanders to fight until the end", the club emphasised.
"90 minutes of total battle. One goal. Three points for the island"
After the match, manager Chaiyachet Kochkosai (Coach Ford) shared his thoughts and discussed the challenges ahead for the team. For the next match, the Islanders will now return home to welcome FC Yala in front of their fans.
